This fast-growing plant blooms elegant pinkish-purple bracts that will brighten up any walkway or fence line. Inside is housed tiny clusters of white flowers. These plants do well with little water and do well in the Texas heat. You may find that it grows perfectly up the side of a column or along a picket fence. However, the Bougainvillea also does well in pots if you want to hang them on your porch or window sill. Keep in mostly dry soil.
