Water Requirements: Water regularly until once a week until roots take hold. Then water only when soil is dry, and there is extreme heat.

Deer Resistance: Not deer resistant, deer love to eat these plants.

 

This showering shrub, with its glossy green leaves, will make any porch or home look nicer. You can plant many of these to gain an elegant look or use them sparingly. You can also spot small clusters of white flowers, although they may not be noticeable upon first glance. The Clara Hawthorn also requires normal amounts of water even in hotter environments.
